Ardi Munir, M.Kes, Sp.OT, FICS, FAACT, MH, was inaugurated by the Chancellor of Tadulako University Prof. Dr. Ir Mahfudz, MP, Wednesday (29/9/21), as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Untad for the period 2021-2025. The inauguration of the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Untad coupled with the inauguration of the Chair, Secretary and Members of the Ethics Commission, Secretary of the Center for Business Development, as well as interim replacement for the Secretary of the Center for Research and Cooperation Development at LPPM Untad, was held in the lobby of the Untad Rectorate.
It is known, Dr dr Moh. Ardi Munir replaced Dr dr M Sabir, M.Si who served as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Untad for the period 2017-2021. And Dr. Dr. M. Sabir himself, was inaugurated as Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Untad on 2 October 2017, by the then Chancellor of Untad, Prof. Dr. Ir Muh. Basir, SE, MS.
“I congratulate Dr dr Ardi Munir who was inaugurated as the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as other officials who were inaugurated. And don’t forget to also thank the previous Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr dr M. Sabir, who has raised the Faculty of Medicine so far. , until it is recognized that it is able to independently produce quality doctors,” said Untad Chancellor Prof Mahfudz in his speech.
The Chancellor explained that Dr. Ardi Munir had been in the process since the Faculty of Medicine was still a study program, until it was finally designated as a faculty. The Faculty of Medicine, he said, needs all of our efforts and hard work, to be successful. Therefore, he has high hopes for the new Dean, to continue to develop the Faculty of Medicine.
“This mandate is so big, because the responsibility of the Faculty of Medicine is not only completed when students get a bachelor’s degree, but there are still other responsibilities, namely, the internship process as a doctor, after taking the oath as a doctor,” he explained.
So, Prof Mahfudz also hopes that all elements in the Faculty of Medicine will work together to help Dr. Ardi Munir to continue to develop the Faculty of Medicine in the future.***
