From the crime scene results, SM’s victim was a resident of Pombewe Village, Biromaru District, Sigi Regency, who worked as a water pipe repair officer in Uwerompu in the mountainous area of Pombewe Village.
“For the chronology of the incident, namely, it started when the SM victim said goodbye to his wife RM to go repair the water pipe in Uwerompu in the mountainous area of Pombewe Village, on Saturday (25/09/21) at 09.00 WITA. The victim said goodbye alone with a machete, hat, bag containing keys, scissors, pieces of pipe, rubber, then the victim left by motorbike,” said Sigi Police Chief AKBP Yoga Priyahutama, through the Head of Public Relations Subdivision Iptu Ferry.
However, Ferry continued, as of 21.00 WITA, the victim had not returned home, so his family, neighbors and bhabinkamtibmas tried to find the location and surrounding where the victim worked. And, continued Ferry, on Sunday (26/09/21), around 07.00 WITA, finally the victim was found about 2 KM from where the victim worked in a lifeless condition.
“Based on the crime scene carried out by the Central Sulawesi Police Inavis Team and the Sigi Police Iden Unit, the victim is suspected to have died as a result of murder, this is evidenced by the discovery of several wounds on the victim’s body. handed back to the family and has been interred in the public cemetery Pombewe village,” he explained.
