“The arrest was made on the basis of the police report number: Lp-B/64/IX/2021/ResPalu/Spkt I/Sek-Paltim. On September 25, 2021. The incident took place at the BTN Benua Tadulako housing complex, Jl Soekarno-Hatta, Tondo Village, last July 2021,” said Palu Police Chief AKBP Bayu Indra Wiguno, SIK, MIK.
On the orders of the East Palu Police Chief AKP Umar, said the Police Chief, the team then conducted an investigation regarding the whereabouts and identity of the perpetrators. As for the information that the police had received from the residents, that the perpetrator was at his house, namely on Jl. RE Martadinata.
“Members then moved to the location and found the perpetrator was in the house. Then, the perpetrator was taken to the East Palu Police Headquarters. And when interrogated, the perpetrator admitted that he had committed theft at BTN Benua Tadulako,” said AKBP Bayu.
As for other confessions, continued AKBP Bayu, the perpetrator is also a recidivist with the same case and has acted at 11 crime scenes. The eleven crime scenes, he said, include Btn Banua Tadulako, Jl Padat Karya, Jl Kimaja, Jl Soekarno Hatta (Three times of action), Jl RE Martadinata (Three times of action), the Incense Warehouse area and on Jl Vatutela.
